The Richard Family, Dorchester MA

On April 15th the Richard family was watching the Boston Marathon when bombs exploded nearby. Their young son Martin was killed. His younger sister and his mother remain seriously injured.
I am running The Quincy Half Marathon on Sunday, May 5th and I am asking you to donate $5.00 per mile completed. The course is 13.1 miles and I plan on completing it in honor of the Richard Family.
Example: 13.1 miles x $5.00 = $65.50
If you are willing to donate more by all means please do so. Any dollar amount is welcome. The family has asked for all checks to be put into a fund and not directly sent to them. I will obtain the address and account information and will have the check sent there once all donations are made.
