The Asian & Pacific Islander community has been facing an overwhelming number of attacks & hate crimes, since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. With over 6600 hate crime incidents reported in the last year in the US. In New York, data shows a 1900% increase in anti-Asian hate crimes in the past year. Reports see a 164% increase in anti-Asian hate crime reports to the police in the first 1/4 of 2021. In Canada, a 717% jump in anti-Asian hate crime incidents since 2019. There is a 300% increase in reported hate crimes towards East & Southeast Asian people around the UK, in the past year. More have occurred but have most likely gone unreported.
We will no longer tolerate the silence.
We are coming together to use our voices to raise awareness.

- To support The Asian Talk & other Asian educational & non-profit organisations that are doing the work to create awareness & combat anti-Asian rhetoric through social media campaigns
- To raise funds for local organisations & struggling Asian-owned businesses in London, New York, San Francisco Chinatown & beyond
- To further support organisations & programs that serve various short-term & long-term goals of our community, including mental health services, improving safety & care for our elderly and efforts that build solidarity
- To support victims & their family's who have been subjects of hate crime
- To increase awareness & educational tools for community programs & schools
- To purchase resources that encourage anti-racism education
