Thank You Boxes - Winchester Hospital ICU

Winchester Hospital ICU need our help!

We have re-launched our successful ‘ICU Thank You Box’ appeal for the 3rd time; to support the amazing team at Winchester Hospital ICU during our third and most critical lockdown.


WHO WE ARE:

We are 3 mothers from the Winchester community, raising money for the medical staff at Winchester hospital and more specifically the members in the intensive care unit.  






OUR STORY SO FAR:

In April 2020 we raised enough money to make 180 gift boxes; and then again in January this year we re-launched the appeal for another 115 boxes -  these boxes contained treats including; energy bars, confectionery, toiletries and small luxuries.

So far the amazing & generous donations from the community have been over £5000 and we have also received over £4000 worth of product donations from local businesses. 

These boxes were our way of saying thank you from the local community to the doctors and nurses working tirelessly at Winchester hospital as they battled against COVID-19.

The feedback we received from our first delivery in April was humbling.

The doctors and nurses at Winchester were so surprised and delighted to be thought of and appreciated.





APPEAL 3:

The medical teams now once again battling the relentless next wave of Covid -19.

We are asking you, the Winchester community, to dig deep and donate funds to enable us to say thank you to the incredible staff at Winchester hospital. The medical staff are working night and day on our behalf in these traumatic conditions.

As we sit in our homes in relative safety, now is the time to show our support and appreciation of people who are dealing with life and death on a daily basis.

All monies will be used to make up the thank you boxes for the medical staff; each thank you box costs £25.

**We are aiming to deliver 100 more boxes, so will need to raise another £2500**

Please give what you can and show the hospital staff that the community of Winchester cares.

We have set up this GoFundMe, so we can use the money to purchase snacks, food treats, drinks & toiletries. We will also purchase items at cost direct with suppliers so we can buy more with the money you are kindly donating.
