Team Sarah Rose

Anyone who knows Sarah Lakatos, knows what an amazing young woman she is. She's always the first person to make sure you're okay when you seem a little out of it, and one of the most reliable friends a person could ever ask for. Unfortunately, on April 23, 2012, at only 18 years old, Sarah was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. ALL is a form of cancer that progresses rapidly in the blood and bone marrow and prevents your body from making the right blood cells your body needs.

Since then, Sarah has gone through countless invasive procedures and treatments in an attempt to get her as healthy as possible. Thankfully, all of the effort was greatly successful, and 2 long years later, Sarah is on her way to being her old self again.

But, of course, her treatment came along with a heavy financial toll. And although there is no limit to what her family is willing to do to help Sarah, one family can only financially support so much... That is where we come in.

This fundraiser was developed with the hopes that we can come together as a community for Sarah and her family and help in one of the few ways we can.
