Team Victor

Victor Martinez was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 rectal cancer from a tumor that was found in his rectum. He is currently undergoing six weeks of daily chemo and radiation at Kennestone Hospital to help shrink the tumor. In December, Victor will have surgery at the Cleveland Clinic in Weston, Florida to remove the tumor and part of his rectum area.  This inital surgery will be followed by a second surgery that is not yet scheduled. Victor will spend the majority of December recuperating from the surgery. Following the first surgery, Victor will receive another round of treatment to kill any remaining cancer cells that are still in his body. Contributions will go towards the out of pocket medical and travel expenses that will incur.  Victor plans to donate a portion of anything over the goal amount to the American Cancer Society.  Victor and his wife, Kelly, live in Marietta, Georgia where they are raising their two children. At 31 years of age, Victor continues to inspire those around him with his positive attitude and love for life! Go Team Victor!
