In honor of our dear friend Garrett Kirkpatrick Smythe (AKA Tank Johnson of Deadbolt, AKA Flounder of Wheat Ridge High School, CO) ....may he rest in peace.... 1.11.2015. I present the official fundraising page for his daughter, on behalf of his friends.
We will gather together on February 28th, 2015, 7 pm, in Denver, Colorado at Tooey's off Colfax to celebrate his life and will have a huge silent auction, food, free beer, and music together. $10 donation at door.
Tooey's has partnered with us like family and are donating cash from the door and just have provided support like you can't imagine.
My mom, who Garrett called mom - Judy, and Nick from Spruce Tap - slinging BBQ at 7. Let's call it early supper.

Mariachi Vasquez singing classic country from 9:30 to 10:30.
Then a blast from WRHS past and tribute to G from Mean Uncle Mike.

Teagan is a such sweet girl and so reminds us of her dad...when visiting with her before the service in St. Louis she told us that for now she would like to be a veterinarian. We hope she comes to Colorado and goes to CSU so we can be close. :)
From everyone in Garrett's life, we are committed to helping Teagan and Kelene - we love you. While we are still grieving and missing Garrett, we are here for you both and you will witness the power of amazing friendships... of that I am sure!
