Help Us Buy the HELP Center

Many who are homeless or in need don't have the ability to find the services they require to survive. Often the homeless have a lack of transportation, education and/or lack of direction many who live on the streets would benefit from the services available to them at one location. St. Vincent de Paul North Idaho has created a "one stop" center to provide crucial services to the homeless and those in need in North Idaho all under one roof. The building, formerly known as the Coeur d'Alene library at 201 E. Harrison Ave., provides the space needed to accommodate such a facility and the central location to be easily accessible to those in need of our services. St. Vincent de Paul North Idaho operates 7 buildings all within 1 block making the St. Vincent de Paul H.E.L.P. Center central to our overall operations. With the location of the Center to our campus allows easy access to our store, both the Men's Emergency Shelter and the Women & Chilren's Emergency Shelter, transitional housing and our warehouse. As of today there are 19 different nonprofit and governmental agencies providing 24 different services. In 2013 the HELP Center helped 8,044 unduplicated people and gave out 21,373 services to our community. Please help support the HELP Center and make this facility a permanent fixture in our community.
