Super Saturday of Sport

I am the organiser and creator of a free community sports event "Super Saturday of Sport" in London. I started the event in 2013 because I felt like I needed to give back to the community and my passion is to inspire people of all ages to discover or re-discover their active passion. I am also a massive supporter of grassroots sports clubs (often run by volunteers)who are essential to the health of our communities. I give local those local sports clubs a free platform to promote themselves to new and potential members. Super Saturday attracted 8000 people in Chiswick and I have expanded it to Feltham and Harrow too. My dream is to have Super Saturdays all over London so many more communities have a free day of activity. At the moment, I organise the events from my own kitchen table (as well as working and looking after my 2 kids). I am raising money to help cover the operational costs of the Chiswick event (eg hiring the park, closing the road, hiring toilets, marquees, insurance, marketing...etc) Thank you so much for reading this ... it means a lot to have community support!
