CHEF DAVID TO PROVIDE HOLIDAY MEALS FOR THE SUBPAC COMMAND - PACIFIC FLEET

The Pacific Submarine Force came to Hawaii in 1914 when four F-class boats were towed from San Francisco to Honolulu. The legacy of the Pacific Submarine Force, established in World War II, continues today.  Armed with the finest ships in the world, manned by the most professional Sailors, the Pacific Submarine Force continues to ensure America’s critical access to the world’s ocean trade routes, providing a credible defense against any hostile maritime forces, and project power from the sea to the shore when called upon.

The U.S.S. Chicago was relocated to Hawaii from Guam last year. Chef David Trevelino continued his mission of providing Christmas & New Year's Eve dinner for the crew of the U.S.S. Chicago Submarine by traveling to Hawaii in 2017 and will do so again for the 5th time.

As you may know, Chef David's son Andrew D. Trevelino, USN currently serves on the U.S.S. Chicago. Chef David, alongside Andrew, prepares a Holiday Meal for both Christmas and New Year's Eve for the crew of the U.S.S. Chicago and other unidentified subs in the Pacific Fleet.

This mission is fully funded by the continued generosity of the members of the Tournament Players Club Potomac at Avenel Farm and others. Please support Chef David's mission.
