STOP THE JACKSON TOWNSHIP JUNK YARD LEGAL FUND

Help us Save the Jackson water for Manasquan, Metedeconk Toms River Tributaries to the  Barnegate Bay by Contributing to the Legal Fund (STOPPING THE JACKSON TOWNSHIP JUNK YARD! Click to see video)!

“Help Your Neighbors, Families, & Friends fight this application requiring over 8 Variances and is not a permitted use in the Light Manufacturing Zone”.  A&A Truck Parts Inc. is trying to move their 11-acre Freehold Junk Yard to a 48-acre Junk Yard in Jackson Township on a small country road called Wright Debow Road.

How can they build a junkyard right next to Turkey Swamp preserve and Barnegat Bay Watershed? This is a residential area!  The traffic of 500 – 1,000 trucks a week will ruin the road not suitable for heavy vehicles. The turning radius of large trucks is not legally possible in and out of Wright-Debow on both the North Route 537 and South Route 526 ends of this residential road.  The noise from trucks, shredders and crushers will affect homes just 100s of feet away!

The well water will be contaminated!

A 71 ft tall building is to be erected 21 ft over the zoning code.Jackson doesn't have a fire truck ladder tall enough to help extinguish a fire on land abutting a nature preserve. Many variances will be approved with zoning codes ignored!  How can our planning officials do this to its citizens?

The effects of this being built will devalue your home, cause major environmental and traffic issues, make the neighborhood unsafe!

We need to STOP A&A Truck Parts Inc and all the requests for many variances to ensure our neighborhood will not have these problems! The zoning is for LIGHT industry not HEAVY! The Junk Yard will ruin our neighborhood!

If A&A Truck Parts Inc is allowed to build this you're going to see flatbed trucks with tanks (YES military tanks!), jeeps, buses and who knows what else rolling down our streets!  Besides that, the Barnegat Watershed and Turkey Swamp Preserve abuts this land.

Really?! A&A Truck Parts Inc plans on having a gravel lot NOT tarred. Do they think they won't be spilling any gasoline, oil, antifreeze, etc. into the soil? The watershed and preserve are right there not to mention the well water we drink.
