On Track to Rio!

It has been a long road. From her first NCAA championship her freshman as a Fighting Illini to her first Olympic trials as a Nike Athlete, Ashley Spencer has been prayful and steadfast for this day to come. This young lady has worked tirelessly day and night for a passion that she shares with many others. Praying without ceasing, God has finally answered, "Yes."

Ashley has made the Olympic team in the 400m Hurdles running a time of 54.02! Not only that she had made history for many record books being the only peson in Olympic history to reach the final in both the open 400m and the 400m hurdles. Trials and tribulations are a mild description of what this woman has endured. From moving 1000 miles from her friends and family, to losing loved one, to battling physical injuries, there is nothing that she hasn't came through and hasn't conquered. Her family has been by her side every step of the way. And though it has been challenging to watch from afar, we have shown undying support as she endured her journey. 

 Please help us go and support Ashley at the Rio Olympic Games! There is no such thing as a small donation. We are forever grateful for all of your help! The flights to Brazil  alone are about $1300 per person! The Lord helps those who help themselves and the Spencer's are busy at work, laboring at multiple jobs. With your help we can, at the very least, send my mother, Rita Spencer, to watch her youngest (prayfully) capture an Olympic medal! Help us reach our goal!
