Adopting 3 orphaned siblings

My name is Liz Sookarry and my husband's name is Sharma. We have been married for almost 17 years and have traveled the world together. After suffering 7 miscarriages in 9 years, we had given up on the idea of having a family of our own. Soon after coming to this decision, we found ourselves expecting unexpectedly, and this time were blessed enough to welcome William. Just a year and a bit later we had our little Anthony. They are now 6 and 4 years old. We would have been very happy with our little family as it was, but while visiting his country of birth, Sharma discovered that his great-nieces and great-nephew were in desperate need of a home. They were living in an orphanage, and the little boy had been through significant medical problems that left him in a coma for a month. We helped arrange decent medical care and a private foster family, which we are funding, and these beautiful children began to thrive. At one point over 4 years ago, we felt God was calling us to go a huge step further....to bring these children home as our own. We immediately began the process, which has been quite considerable. There has never been an international adoption attempted from this country, and so we had to embark on a marathon of lawyers, traveling, and politicians. Before we can bring our children home, we must literally write a new international law that will potentially open the floodgates for further adoptions in the future. For many years, we ran into multiple obstacles and obstructions placed in our way, but we have overcome them all, and we are almost able to bring them home now. Over the years we have come to fully love our children, and no distance or expense will overcome our determination to finally bring them home. After all, they are our children!
