EAGLE SCOUT COMMUNITY PROJECT: "Light Up a Student Desk in PERU" using a Solar system
==========================================================
· There is a population of over 7 Billion people in the world and 1.4 Billion (20%) do not have electricity at home.
- PERU (South America ) has a population of 29.4 Million people and 6 million (20.4%) of them do not have electricity at home.
· Lets Power up the world with Home made Solar Power generators.
· Lets start with a Basic 1 Kw Solar Power Generator able to provide power to students during the night.
· Then the idea is to implement another system based on the support of People or any organization based in United States.
WHAT WE DID SO FAR?
- A 1000 W Solar Power Generator was implemented at home in order to test the technology and reliability of the components at the same time we were getting the proper training for the community project.
- We were trying to use most of the "˜Made in USA' components and accessories as possible in order to get a good quality product.
- The system was completed and is being used for daily operations at this time.
WHAT ARE WE PLANING TO IMPLEMENT?
Two 1 Kw SOLAR POWER GENERATORS for a MISSION in PERU
