Slaley Village Hall

£100k for 100 years

Slaley Commemoration Hall is 100 years old.

For a century it has provided a wonderful facility for the village and beyond - be it dances,  exercise classes, film show and meetings for local business and organisations.

Now however, the grand old lady of the village needs a face lift!

A substantial refurbishment is needed to secure her future for her next century.

Its not sexy – it’s the drains, the loos and storage!

Or to be more precise, the extension where the toilets and storage is located needs to be rebuilt to address issues with the foundations, drains, roof  and damp.

2019 sees the Hall Trust launch its “£100k for 100 years” appeal to raise essential funds to keep the hall modern and attractive. We will be holding many events and fund raising. However, if you could donate directly  to our cause we'd be most grateful.

Thank you to everyone who supported the sponsored walk and all the other events so far.
Our total donations are almost £28,000.
