Our dear friend Melodie's husband, was diagnosed with Glioblastoma, a tumor in his brain, in August of 2019.  He’s only 42 and they have three kids, a 3 year old, 15 month old twins and a fourth baby due in March.  Since then, he has undergone a craniotomy, 6 weeks daily chemo and radiation, another surgery to put in a shunt, and yet another surgery for a shunt replacement as it was proven to be not working.

He’s had multiple hospital visits for the aforementioned as well as Grand Mal seizures. Recently, the family was told by their Neurooncologist that the cancer has spread and the tumor has grown back to its original size. Melodie has spent countless hours reviewing all his records, talking to new neurosurgeons and neurooncologists pleading to review and take his case, taking care of of her husband (hospital visits, doctor appointments, scheduling nurses for home visits when home), and researching clinical trials WHILE making sure her kids have somewhat of a "normal" household. Since then, he has undergone surgery and almost daily doses of chemotherapy.

Sadly, the Neurooncologist confirmed that the cancer has spread to his spinal fluid. It's deposited in his spine and around his brain. He cannot speak much, he cannot walk on his own and his appetite is decreasing.

We are raising the funds to help Melodie and her family through this arduous and EXPENSIVE journey to get her husband's health back on track. There is a possibility of him being accepted into an experimental treatment program but it is outside of the United States and super expensive. 

Also, the money would be used for groceries and necessities for the kids.
