D.P. Dough Franchise in Pittsburgh!

Hello!

My name is Mike Shipman.  I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) living and working in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  

While attending Ithaca College from 2007 to 2011, I had the opportunity to experience the great products and experiences the D.P. Dough Franchise has to offer.  Since that time, it has been a dream and a goal of mine to set up and run a D.P. Dough Franchise.

This is not an easy undertaking.  The franchise requires a lot of milestones be met before awarding the franchise.  One of these is $25,000 in franchise fees upfront.  It is in this area that I need assistance in addition to my own savings.

I am currently working on obtaining financing through the SBA and local banks for the main business expenses, but without the franchise fees secure, many lenders will not lend to me!

IF you donate, you may specify whether you would like your donation to be in the form of debt or equity.  If equity, your share in future profits will be equivalent to your share of risk, or more simply put, the % of your investment compared to the total investment at stake.  If debt, I will work with you to draft a repayment agreement that adequately compensates you with interest.  The debt and equity payouts will be done through a company I am currently setting up to handle the investment in the franchise, entitled "Shipman Sales & Solutions, LLC".   Please note, any donations will be held in interest-bearing escrow until the franchise is setup.  If, for some reason, the franchise does not go through, your money will be returned to you with interest as compensation for your time and investment!
