Help Build a Village- Habitat for Humanity- Global Village Madagascar 2013

I have established this page to request support.

9, 519 miles from Hilton Head lies the island nation of Madagascar.  This country in the Indian Ocean hosts a population of 21.9 million of which 90% earn less than $2 per day.  Recent natural disasters have left thousands of children and families homeless.

Through invitation and selection, I have the opportunity to participate in Habitat for Humanity Global Village-Madagascar 2013.  June 15th through 24th, 2013, I aspire to broaden my professional commitment and personal passion as I help to change individuals lives by environment.  

"It takes a village to raise a child"- African Proverb.  How children develop and what they need to succeed is entwined in the society in which they live. How well it sustains and supports it's families and individuals depicts their future.  

I ask you to become a part of this village.  Please consider supporting the people of Madagascar.  Help me, help Habitat for Humanity make a sustainable difference!
