Global Village Trip

I've been volunteering with Habitat for Humanity since high school. My first Habitat experience was at the Dallas affiliate, volunteering with the JP Morgan Chase houses. Then in 2009, I began volunteering with the Austin affiliate. I went on to fulfill my undergraduate internship with Austin Habitat in 2011. In 2013, I decided to apply to become an National Direct AmeriCorps member at Austin Habitat. I have been serving Austin Habitat for Humanity since September as the Volunteer Services AmeriCorps member. 

Now, I am excited to be a team member on a Habitat for Humanity Global Village trip to Hawaii. February 24, 2015 to March 5, 2015, I will come together with a team of individuals from all over the United States to build in Kaua'i, Hawaii. I am looking forward to exploring a new culture and serving Habitat’s mission of eliminating poverty housing from the face of the earth.
