World hunger is best solved at the community level. Community gardens allow people to grow the food they choose and the provides high level nutrition. Community Gardens strengthen communities, help people become self suffisent, provide healthy fun activities for young and old. I am a member of a community garden in my own community and I know how empowering and vital they are. Buba Jawney teaches perma-culture to the youth of his village in Africa. Perma-culture is a vital, sustainable planting method that improves the environment as well as feeds the community.. Few things have as much ability to transform our world and end poverty and hunger.
Besides providing life-giving food, community gardens stengethen bonds among the people and families and teach valuable skills to the young and old.
Buba,s garden despartely needs a larger variety of high quality organic seeds. By donating money for seeds even a small amount can be transformed into a bountiful harvest that can sustain a community for months. Your gift of money will provide vital nutrition, help support perma-culture throughout the world, help maintain the environment of the area and of the planet as a whole. It is a gift of life, it is a gift of self-sufficientcy and most of all it is a gift love.
