The Scary Larry Project
Todd Nunes and Tanisa N. Brown, both graduates of the Los Angeles Film School, decided back in 2011 to co-direct a movie. Since Todd zealously refers to himself as "the horror movie expert," it made sense that the two direct a feature film from the popular genre.
Besides, who doesn't like horror movies?
People LOVE to be scared at the movies and Todd and Tanisa want to give audiences want they want:psychopathic killers, blood curling screaming, eerie music, multiple dead bodies, suspense, gore, and not to mention, a kick ass story.
Working tirelessly for the past several months to brainstorm storylines, write the screenplay, and to lay down the preliminary stages of pre-production, Scary Larry promises to deliver a HORRIFYING and ENTERTAINING experience!

Film
Todd and Tanisa know all too well how hard it is to get a movie made in Hollywood.
However, that didn't stop them from moving forward with the idea to direct a feature film because they believe in the philosophy "create your own opportunities" instead of waiting around for a big budget studio to green light one of their projects.
Still, taking on the endeavor to make a feature length film is a very challenging and extensive process.
Despite this, Todd and Tanisa, along with their sisters Ashley Mary Nunes and Tosha Brown, as well as friends Alicia Irons and Patricia McPhaul (Patricia is also a graduate of the Los Angeles Film School), made a commitment to themselves that they were going to make this film no matter what.
The reason is simple. They love movies and this is what they want to do.
Yet truth be told, working in the industry has not been easy and along the way, all six had to make sacrifices just to be able to do what they love and persist to stay in the business.
Only through determination and a passion for filmmaking, not to mention, experience working in film and television from production assistant all the way up to executive producer, has given Todd, Tanisa, Ashley, Tosha, Alicia, and Patricia the confidence they need to put together a great film.
They have the Training.

They have the Professionalism!

Scary Larry can become a reality, but we need the support of our family and friends to make it happen. As mentioned earlier, making a feature film is a very challenging process.

The End Goal
Getting a distribution deal for this film is obviously the coveted goal. However, even if that does not happen, the real end goal of this film is to gain experience and to receive the acknowledgment that we made a feature film.
Not only will making this film present first time opportunities for several cast and crew members, but the feature film credit alone can be the start of creating a name for ourselves in the industry while at the same time, open doors to other film projects in the future. While building established screen credit certainly does take time, once more, we want to be proactive in our careers and create our own opportunities.
With continued hard work and dedication to our craft, we know in our hearts that at the end, it will all be well worth it!
