My wife Sabrina was recently diagnosed with an aggressive type of breast cancer and she is about to have a mastectomy to hopefully remove all of the cancer.

Last year we relocated from Connecticut to the Baltimore area, and the news of Sabrina's breast cancer was a tough blow while we were adjusting to a new place we now call home.  To make matters worse, my wife just started her job teaching Spanish at a public high school, and we found out that she is not covered under the Family Medical Leave Act.  In fact, when her employer found out she had cancer, they sent us a letter stating that her only option was to resign.  Sabrina was hurt, and didn't need this.  I have been fighting the school board for her job ever since, but in the mean time we will have lost her job, health insurance, and other benefits.

Our family is trying to stay positive, but we humbly ask for your help.
