S Winn Eagle Project - Flag Retirement Center

My son, Shawn Winn will be building a Flag Retirement Center as his Eagle Scout project. He is a scout with Troop 2, Helena, AL. He has chosen to do this project because he feels that as the American flag is a symbol of our nation and he believes in all it stands for; it should be retired in a dignified way. Currently, there is not a good place in Pelham AL. or nearby cities where the American flag can be properly retired.
Shawn had two grandfathers and a host of other family members that served under the American flag. He would like to honor them and others that served this great nation in the armed forces under the American flag and would appreciate any donation toward his project.
Should you contribute, know that all funds will go directly toward the building of this Flag Retirement Center. If there are any funds left over, it will go to the City of Pelham in a trust to help with the maintenance of this center.
He plans is to have this center completed by May 2020 . We will have a dedication on June 14, 2020 for Flag Day.
