Meet Kim!! The Rose Bowl will be helping her and her family with the funds we are raising for our event this year.
With no history of breast cancer in her family and scheduled, routine mammograms, Kim thought little of finding a lump in her breast on her 56th birthday, in August of 2017. Fast forward to October, with Kim facing a cancer diagnosis. She went in for a bilateral mastectomy, followed by weeks of healing, and chemotherapy in December. Now, half way through her treatment, Kim is hoping to bring awareness and assistance to others as she continues to fight through this journey.
Kim maintains a positive outlook, often referencing inspirational or humourous quotations and finding the best in every day, with her family by her side.

The Rose Bowl gives 100% of the proceeds we raise to the family that we support. We will be hosting our 7th event at Quinte Bowl, Belleville Ontario on Friday, April 20. We are so thankful and appreciative of all the help and support that we have recceived in previous years.
