India Medical Mission June 2018
Donation protected
A person’s true wealth is the good they do in the world. - Kahlil Gibran
My name is Rio and I am a senior nursing student at Chamberlain University. To commemorate my last year in the nursing program, I have decided to embark on an incredible opportunity to put my passion of nursing to help those in need in India, June 2018 for a medical mission. I have been blessed to be a part of a team of fellow nursing students under the organization, International Service Learning, who have dedicated their time and efforts to coordinate this medical mission to help those who have not been dealt with the same opportunities as us. For a total of 14 days, we will be visiting impoverished villages to provide free medical care to the people of Sevak and Choranda to name a few. With this opportunity, I will gain the experience to serve those in rural communities to provide medical assistance in the presence of a new culture.
In order to participate in such an amazing cause, it does come with a price. I am hoping to raise $4000 to cover my travel expenses, medical supplies, and lodging during my trip. Help me, help others by making a donation of any kind, big or small. Anything helps and would be greatly appreciated! Any remaining funds will be applied to medical supplies needed for the trip. As a future nurse, I have chosen to dedicate my time and efforts to help others. I have been extremely blessed and I can’t imagine any other way to honor my last year in the nursing program than to provide medical assistance to those less fortunate. I will be forever grateful for any assistance I receive in order for me to be a part of this amazing venture.
Thank you & God bless!
