Our journey to our little Angel :)
Hello,
Many of you know our story. Our names are Richard and Karen Gual. We have been married for 14 years. The love that we have for each other grows more and more every day. Yes, we have had many obstacles like other marriages but through it all and with God we have made it through.
Like many couples we have dreamed of having a family with kids running around and laughing with. Praying always to be wonderful parents and raising them to be loving human beings with morals and values.
Well, that dream has been placed on hold for over 10 years. Not by our choice. We have seen doctors and tried (IUI) and even got pregnant through (IUI, which is a different and lower treatment than IVF) but lost our 1st Little Angel in over a month. We have cried, fought with God and almost just let time pass its course but now WE ARE READY.
IVF was always in the back of our minds but we just tried to give it one more year, that year became many years later. We both prayed and came to an agreement that we would love to try this procedure. Spoke with our Fertility doctor and he gave us the "Green Light".
I am at the right age and healthy enough to go through this procedure. My husband is on cloud Nine praying to be a father.
If all goes well our IVF treatment would begin in April (We know, short time frame) but will need to start paying for treatments soon in March.
This is very unusual from us to ask but we figured that we have enough caring family and friends who would be willing to go through this journey with us.
The amount that we need to raise is $13,500.00 for the IVF procedure and medications. I am so afraid of needles so you can only imagine how my stomach immediately reacts to the word "needles" :o( but my desire to parent a child with my husband is stronger than my fear of needles :)
Whatever amount God places in your heart will be more than appreciated. No small amount is too little. 1st thing we will ask is for prayers. We will need them through this journey.

Muchos de ustedes conocen nuestra historia. Nuestros nombres son Richard y Karen Gual. Hemos estado casados durante 14 años. El amor que tenemos uno por el otro crece cada vez más cada dÃa. Hemos tenido muchos obstáculos como otros matrominios pero a pesar de todo y con la ayuda de Dios hemos podido superarlo.
Como muchas parejas, hemos soñado de tener una familia con hijos jugando y llenando nuestro hogar con sus sonrisas. Siempre encomendandonos a Dios para ser padres maravillosos y de criar a nuestros hijos a ser seres humanos con valores morales y cristianos.
Ese sueño ha sido pospuesto por más de 10 años, pero no por nuestra decision. Hemos visto diferentes médicos y hemos probado un tratamiento que se llama IUI (es un tratamiento de fertilización diferente a in-vitro y a más bajo costo) con el cual quede embarazada. pero perdimos a nuestro primer angelito despues de 5 semanas de embarazo. Hemos llorado, luchado con Dios y nos permitimos que el tiempo tomara su curso pero ahora ESTAMOS LISTOS.
Fertilización in-vitro siempre estuvo en nuestras mentes pero intentamos darnos un más año, y ese año se convirtió en mucho mas de uno. Ambos oramos y mi esposo y yo llegamos a un acuerdo mutuo en el que nos gustaria tratar este procedimiento. Hablamos con nuestro médico de Infertilidad y él nos dio la "Luz Verde".
Estoy en la edad correcta y suficiente sana para atravesar este procedimiento. Mi esposo está sobre las nubes orando para que Dios le conceda la bendición de ser padre.
Si todo va bien, nuestro tratamiento de fertilización in-vitro empezarÃa en abril (sabemos y entendemos que el tiempo es corto) pero en Marzo tendremos que empezar a pagar por el tratamientos y confiamos en que Dios esta en control.
Sabemos que podemos contar con el amor y apoyo de nuestra familia y amigos que nos aprecian mucho y que estarÃan dispuestos a atravesar este etapa de nuestras vidas con nosotros, y aunque esto no es común de parte de nosotros nos hemos visto obligados a compartir la necesidad que tenemos de recaudar $13,500.00 dólares para el procedimiento de fertilización in-vitro y medicinas.
Para algunos de ustedes es conocida mi fobia (terror) a las jeringuillas (agujas) y solo con imaginármelas se me hacen nudos en el estómago pero mi deseo de ser madre es más fuerte que mi temor a las jeringuillas (agujas) :)
Cualquier cantidad que Dios ponga en sus corazónes será sumamente apreciado. Como se dice en ingles "“ No small amount is too little, No hay una cantidad que sea insignificante. Mas que nada pedimos por sus oraciones. Las necesitaremos mientras caminanos en este trayecto hacia la paternidad.
