Hi guys,
I am going to Africa for 6 weeks next year. I have always had a pull and a sense of wonder to go over to Kenya.
Due to personal challenges and growth I haven't managed to step up and go well GUESS what I am more than ready now.
The three programs I will be taking part in will be 2 weeks working with people of all ages living with HIV-AIDS. HIV/AIDS continues to be a major issue in Africa projects have been established to provide free Antiretroviral Drugs and Therapies to those living with the disease but the overriding aim is to highlight the importance of HIV/AIDS education and awareness.
Due to high death toll because of HIV/AIDS, poverty and illness it leaves a lot of kids without their parents and they are forced to be homeless or living at an orphanage. One Kenyan orphanage can host up to 300 kids at one time.
The third program which I have just added to my journey is a Women Empowerment program in Kibera the biggest slum in Africa and one off the biggest slums in the world.
I would really appreciate if you lovely people could donate and if you cannot donate share my page please help support me to support the wonderful projects that could save a life.
