The destructive force of Hurricane Maria has left 3.5 million people without water, electricity, gasoline and many without homes. Puerto Ricans are working together on the island to clear the streets and take care of each other.

My name is Victor Garcia.  I am Puerto Rican and have family that have been affected. At this moment, my mother cannot stay at her house because it was damaged.  Hurricane Maria winds went over my town of Corozal.

Where do we start?  I make myself personally responsible for making sure the donations are used to purchase critical necessities.  The first step is to  to buy items for the family and friends in the neighborhood, and the rest will go to my mother who was the most affected.  My mother is in need of medical attention, and your donations will aid in transporting her to the mainland.

I am also personally purchasing  flashlights, batteries, and food items to these families. I must also make sure to send cash because, if you are not aware, they cannot take cash out of the banks since there is no electricity at all.  They need cash for everyday expenses like gasoline, water -- basically items to survive.

The Items will be shipped thruough USPS and the cash will be shipped through USPS to them in Puerto Rico.

This effort needs to take place as soon as possible. People are in need of help, and they need us to make a difference in their lives. Anything you donate will go directly to the people in need.  We are all families, and at one point in our lives we all will need help. I am here to help, but I need your help too..

Every little bit counts.. Lets make it count

NEXT step..
Looking to raise more money to buy solar panels, controlle and batteries.. This will give 4 household families the ability to share electricty for their refrigirator and few lights.. I must raise $3000 to  $4000
to have it done.
