The Reproductive Justice Action Collective (ReJAC ) as an all-volunteer network in New Orleans sharing information, ideas, and human power to build and implement projects in our community that operate within the Reproductive Justice framework.
We are creating a future where every person has access to reproductive health care and accurate, unbiased information no matter socio-economic status, race, gender, immigration status, or ability.

As a scrappy, on-the-ground, grassroots group we need you to continue this work! We want to raise $2,500 by 2019 to ensure we can continue this work and increase our impact!
ReJAC's community-centered and driven programs are:
-Plan B NOLA : we distribute free and by-donation emergency contraception (EC) through a city-wide network of over 30 Community Support Members. We have distributed emergency contraception to over 100 community members through the text line, and to just as many more through our Community Outposts. This year we won the Ellertson Award for Innovation in EC from the American Society for Emergency Contraception.
-The Sex-Ed Zine: In Louisiana, we do not have mandated sex-ed. We have some of the highest rates of STIs and unintended pregnancy rates in the United States. ReJAC distributes a hand-drawn zine with sex-ed, information on birth control methods, and local resources. We have distributed over 600 zines through the greater New Orleans area with the help of community partnerships.
-CanIGetAnAbortionInLouisiana.com : demystifies accessing abortion care in Louisiana by providing accurate and up-to-date information. With only 3 clinics remaining in the state and ongoing litigation over laws that threaten to close them folks are generally unsure how this affects their day to day access to abortion care. We believe this information should be clear and accessible to everyone.
What your donation means:
All funds go to sustain our programs which includes anything from the purchasing of emergency contraception, to printing zines, to helping us build more programs in our community! We want to provide more access to EC through even more Community Outposts around the greater New Orleans area and through rural areas of the state. We also look forward to the day we can support people more tangibly in accessing abortion care.
