This fund represents our father’s legacy, fulfilled life journey and family love. Our father lived 90 blessed years and went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 1, 2016.
Our parents married in Chilpancingo, Guerrero, Mexico in 1957 and immigrated to Los Angeles that same year. Our father worked long and hard hours supporting his wife and four children as a banquet waiter for 50 years through the Local 11 Waiter’s Union in Los Angeles. The unconditional love for his family always put family needs and concerns first, well above and before his own.
Our father did not need nor did he have a high income to sustain happiness or to guarantee life success for his family. We are blessed to have been raised by Christian parents from Christian families in a home overflowing with love. It is this love that remains in our hearts and has carried us through difficult years.
The purpose and use for this fund are to assist with meeting the financial obligations of funeral expenses. We turn humbly to your hearts and continued offers of assistance for our father and family in this challenging moment. We are grateful for your hearts of compassion and giving as many of you have already experienced this transition with your loved ones.
