NKLV (No Kill Las Vegas)

UPDATE: The Rally for Change was a big success with close to 400 people attending in spite of the cold and rainy November weather. It brought some much needed awareness to what is really going on at our municipal animal shelter, The Animal Foundation, and caught the attention of local media. We are continuing to work towards change and are taking the next step by incorporating as NKLV. We hope you will join us in making Las Vegas a safer community for our homeless pets!

Rally for Change, November 23, 2013



In 2012, Las Vegas' municipal animal shelter, The Animal Foundation, euthanized 61% of the homeless pets that were under their care. That's 24,805 lives lost. To put it in perspective, that's more than all of the Los Angeles city shelters combined.

Go Vegas Dog and Animal Help Alliance are hosting a rally on November 23, 2013 to ask for a change of leadership and to implement proven no-kill policies and practices to eliminate the needless mass killing of healthy and adoptable animals.

Unfortunately, free speech is not free so we have set up this page to help pay for our costs. A few of our favorite local businesses have stepped up to donate money and printing, but there are still other expenses. The city permit, liability insurance and marketing are the main costs. If we are able to reach our goal we'll be able do some radio advertising too!

Will you please help us by making a small donation to the cause? With just a $15 donation you will receive a NKLV bandana for your pup. For $35 you will receive a NKLV T-Shirt and for $45 you will receive both! If you would prefer not to receive the bandana or T-Shirt and have all the money from your donation go to cause please indicate that in the notes. For bandanas, please indicate if you would like a small or large, for T-Shirts indicate your sex and T-Shirt size. Women's shirts are fitted. Shipping is included, sorry we cannot ship outside of the USA.
