First off, we cannot thank you enough for taking a minute to look at our page. To say that we want nothing more than to expand our family is an understatement. When we found out that conception for us would be incredibly unlikely to impossible, we were devastated. However, we are undeterred and are now feeling super inspired!
Our Adoption Story
We've always had a heart for adoption. In fact, we had initially talked about our first baby being adopted, that way he/she would feel like part of the family from the start. We researched adoption options, and it just seemed too expensive for musician's income, so we moved on to trying to get pregnant. However, the desire for adoption, in the future, still remained.
After trying for some time, we decided to have some lab work done, just to be sure we were in the clear.
Just over a month ago, we received the news that we may not be able to conceive.
This news has broken our hearts and humbled us before the Lord. Our love for one another has grown tremendously.
It would take a miracle…
Well, we believe in miracles and trust that the Lord has a plan for us and our future babies, biological or adopted.
"We feel the Lord is pushing us towards everything we've already considered and wanted, but were too afraid to go through with."
We are thrilled to announce that we are beginning the process of adopting our first baby this coming year. We are humbled through this process and are so grateful for your prayers and support. It's going to be a long journey and the support of our family and friends is oh so important.
