On June 19th, our niece, Taylor McElroy was in an ATV accident that caused very serious head and other injuries, all of them life threatening. After 2 1/2 weeks in the hospital and 10 days in rehab, Taylor worked so hard to be able to be discharged. In fact, she was able to go home one month, to the day, after her accident.
Taylor is doing very well, she has shown great courage and strength. She still has additional rehab, but her family is beyond happy to have her home :-) She is such a special part of our family, and is cherished by all who love her.
There has been a life flight, multiple ambulance rides, many CT scans and other diagnostic tests, and high level of care needed to get Taylor to where she's at. Our goal here is to simply raise money for this family, so they are not financially crippled long after the physical wounds heal.
The raffle will take place on September 1st at the Golf Tournament Benefit at Lake Arthur Country Club. If you would like info on that benefit, please let me know! It's going to be a great day, would love to see you there! Need not be present to win the Kindle or iPad Mini.
