Protecting Our Long Island Schools

After this happened at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. I could not sit back anymore and see this ever happen again. “we need to make a difference” and “we need to do something now”.  I graduated from Half Hollow Hills in 2001. This is where I want to start with this movement. We all know we need to do “something.” Now is the time.

We will purchase door lock safety devices for each classroom and proper "Active Shooter Training" for all staff. Our idea was to get funding for this project and get something like this for every school in the district as well as a two hour training class that could save your life!
