Prom For Kiddos With Special Needs

This year I will be taking 15-18 students to Prom. These amazing students have disabilities ranging from Autism to moderate and mild cognitive disabilities, to other health impairments. Last year, my husband and I donated money, along with family members and some coworkers to help me fund my students' dinner, purchase their boutonnieres and corsages, as well as their prom picutures. Based on the number of students last year, I was able to drive my students to Prom in in a school van. This year I have double the students going and would also love to afford a limousine of some kind to fit us all. I have already set up a discount for tuxedos for my male students and have about 10 dresses for my female students to choose from. I will be helping the girls get ready with their hair and make up as well. Last year's students had a wonderful time and I would love nothing more than to be able to help this year's group have the night of their lives. My goal is to provide the opportunity for my students to attend Prom with the extra fun of a limousine and pictures, regardless of their family's financial situation.
