Perrin Swanlund for State Assembly

My name is Perrin Swanlund. As a lifelong Californian and Kern County resident, I've grown up in this political environment. I can truly say that I am happy to have lived in this region, that I am proud to be a Californian. That pride, however, does not excuse our state from growth. We must always pursue a happier, safer, better future, and that is why I've decided to run for Representative of California's 34th Assembly District.

This will not be an easy task. I am running against Vince Fong, a longtime member of our region's political establishment, and he will be rich in the support and coffers of his allies. At the same time, I am quite new to the political world, and have neither the personal assets nor the political allies to fund my campaign with ease.

That's where you come in. If this campaign is to be successful, it must have the support of the people. If you believe in what I stand for, please consider donating whatever you can to this campaign, and ask your peers to do the same. These funds will be used, first to pay those filing fees which our state requires, and then to rally public support throughout the district.
