Paul Schandel Memorial Fund

This online memorial fund is created in loving memory of Paul Schandel, whose life story is told throughout this memorial website. We will remember Paul forever. He was one of the kindest men I have ever known. This fund will go to Paul's family to help them with expenses related to his funeral and services.

It is always hard to know what to say when something like this happens. The one thing I know for certain is we all loved Paul and are going to miss him terribly. Following are some of the things I will always remember about Paul. He joined Intermedia in 2007 as the company's first back-up engineer and worked endless hours, nights and weekends operating and maintaining what has become a gigantic infrastructure spanning across all of our data centers. More importantly, Paul was a good human being, a genuine person and a kind spirited individual. He loved to ride his Harley and was very proud of it. It is easy to picture him pulling in the parking lot on his bike or putting on his leathers for his ride home. He was always easy to share a joke or a laugh with when passing by his desk. He loved to cook BBQ and was an annual competitor in the Intermedia CA rib cook-off. He was a good guy to share a beer with on any occasion.
