Patrick's Memorial Fund

Donation protected
Patrick loved life, he loved fast cars, flying and his friends and family. He was an accomplished aviator, mechanic, but most importantly he was a friend. Patrick was a good man and his life is one that deserves to be celebrated.

A Good Man

A good man never dies--
In worthy deed and prayer
And helpful hands, and honest eyes,
If smiles or tears be there:
Who lives for you and me--
Lives for the world he tries
To help--he lives eternally.
A good man never dies.

Who lives to bravely take
His share of toil and stress,
And, for his weaker fellows' sake,
Makes every burden less,--
He may, at last, seem worn--
Lie fallen--hands and eyes
Folded--yet, though we mourn and mourn,
A good man never dies.

As the poem says, "A good man never dies". Please help us raise the funds to place a memorial on campus at Embry-Riddle Patrick's name.

ERAU is where many of us became friends with Patrick. We all shared the common bond of the love of aviation.  So far we have raised enough money to place the brick with his name at the College of Aviation. We will now attempt to raise the funds to name one of Riddle's Cessna 172s in his honor for the next two years. If we should fall short of that goal, any additional funds beyond the $500 for the brick will be donated in his name.

Thank you all very much for your generosity.

Tailwinds, Clear Skies and Godspeed Patrick Gustin.
