Hi I'm Rob your average Joe from Solihull in the Midlands. But I thought I'd make a 'Go Fund Me' page to show you something I found out recently and how you can help people who really need your help.
When people with learning difficulties get over the age of 18 its really hard for them to get any extra funding. When they are over the age of 45 they might not even have their parents around to care for them any more.
The great staff at the Park View Centre in Solihull provide support for those adults by running activities, social events, encouragement to pursue hobbies and making connections within the community with a variety of volunteer placements.
But! To get out and about to do all this they are in desperate need of their own transport.
That's the bit where you come in.
Our goal is to raise thirty thousand pounds. This will get them a new people carrier, with tax, insurance - the whole shbang! Your valued contribution will help fund the purchase of the vehicle which would be used for a range of projects and experiences and enable some of the most vulnerable people living in Solihull to visit areas of life which we take for granted.
My brother 'The Real Neil' Neil Russel in one month is running 3 half Marathons for the Park View Centre Solihull:

Long Marston Airfield Marathon - March 14th 2015
Warwick Marathon - March 22nd 2015
