North Devon Hedgehog Rescue Summer Fundraiser

Due to the ongoing restrictions relating to the COVID-19 outbreak, it is unlikely that Anni Nicholls, Founder at North Devon Hedgehog Rescue, will be able to hold her usual annual fundraising event this summer, resulting in a significant loss of funds. Instead, Anni will need to rely on the generous donations of people to help her to keep her Rescue Centre going, especially so throughout the busy upcoming winter months. For this reason, we felt compelled to help Anni by starting this fundraising campaign......
We have been supporters of Anni's cause for quite some years now, ever since the day that she took in a poorly hedgehog that we had found in our garden. Thanks to Anni's tender loving care, we were able to release that hedgehog, fully recovered, back into our garden and back into the wild, just a few weeks later.
It is Anni's selfless dedication to hedgehog welfare that has inspired us to try to help Anni to receive much needed funds by creating this Fundraiser.
At the start of this Campaign, we set our Fundraiser target at a £1000 and with the help of the lovely generous folk who donated; this target was reached on 24/05/20.
A huge great big thank you to everyone who has made this possible. Anni is absolutely thrilled; as are we!
The £1000 we have raised will go half way towards compensating Anni for the loss of at least £2000 of funds as a result of her not being able to hold her annual fundraiser. This still leaves a large deficit in funds though and if possible, we would like to ensure Anni has sufficient funds to keep her Rescue Centre going, well into next year.
The response to this fundraiser so far has been absolutely tremendous and because people have been so kind and generous, we have a new (but final) aim........We will today (27/05/20) raise our fundraiser target to a very ambitious £1500. We know it's a big ask, but together we have achieved so much already..... so please, if hedgehog welfare is close to your heart, please help us.
Update 04/06/20:
We have today reached our target of £1500!! What an absolutely amazing achievement and we thank each and every one of you who has made this possible :-)
Even though we have successfully reached our target, we shall keep the Fundraiser running all summer long until the end of August, so should anyone still wish to make a donation, this would be most welcome and very much appreciated :-)
Any donation, no matter how small, will be gratefully received and you can opt to donate anonymously if you prefer.
All funds will be transferred to Anni who has endorsed this Fundraiser on her Facebook page North Devon Hedgehog Rescue.
Please help Anni to continue her wonderful work in caring for sick, injured and orphaned Hedgehogs in North Devon.
