My family is about to be homeless

Hello everyone. My name is Stephen. A couple years ago I lost my job because I could not perform the duties anymore due to needing surgery on my ankle. My son was also born that year. As time progressed, I became further and further behind on my mortgage, as you can see by my goal amount. I started doing Lyft and Uber to try and bring the amount down, to no avail. This pandemic has made it impossible for me to work (I have bad lungs and multiple medical issues, my wife and I decided I shouldn't go places, we cannot risk me). If we were to meet our goal, I would be able to catch up our mortgage as well as some other bills that we are behind on (water, electric, gas). We would need the funds as soon as possible, because as time goes on we accrue more late payments as well as interest, making it more and more impossible to catch up. Knowing that my family would not be kicked out of our home would make us so incredibly grateful to anyone and all that donate to us. If I were to meet my goal I would want to send everyone at the very least a thank you letter, personally written by me.
