Puerto Rico Hurricane Maria Relief

A week ago a category 5 Hurricane named Maria struck the island of Puerto Rico. This hurricane devastated the island leaving it without electricity, running water, or communications. There was widespread flooding and many people lost their homes and belongings.
Among those affected is my sister Maggie who lost part of the roof of her house and lost most of her personal belongings due to high winds and water damage. Her daughter Yessie and her granddaughter lost the roof of their house and most of the content of their home. My sister Mildred, who lives in my hometown of Magueyes, completely lost her home and everything inside. I have yet to make direct contact with my sister Lily but I know her home will have sustained extensive damage as well.
My sisters and my family have always been there for me, they helped raise me and looked after me. I've alwasy been grateful for all they'e done for me and today I feel I need to do everything I can to help them recover from this devastating disaster. Kevin and I have have made a commitment to help them in any way we can, but what is needed is more than we can do on our own. So we need the help of family, friends and anyone willing to join us in getting my family some much needed help. So we are asking for everyone’s to please make a donation and contribute to this effort and please share this message to get others involved. No amount is too small and it will all be infinitely appreciated not only by Kevin and myself but my entire family.
The money raised will be used to help rebuild their homes with building materials and to help them buy necessary household items lost in the hurricane.
