Helping Needy families Christmas 17

We are starting with a goal of $2000.  This will help 5 different families which include 17 people this Christmas.   I will match the total donation up to $800 myself as a way of giving back.  When I was a young single mother I had no idea what I was going to do for my kids at Christmas.  I opened the door late one night after someone was knocking. I opened it to find a bunch of scary looking guys. Bikers as a matter of fact.  I was instantly so scared, I froze.  They were aware of how scared I was, so they quickly told me they had a gift for my family.  Then they handed me a wad of cash.  A BIG wad of cash.  They told me it was $800 that they had collected for me and my kids.  I never signed up for anything, I had no idea how they even knew about my situation.   I can't tell you what that meant to me. It meant I could not only keep my heat on, but I could actually buy my kids some toys!! I still can't tell the story without crying my eyes out.  This beautiful group of gentle and giving souls did a lot of work to raise and get that money to me.  They didn't even know me.  That's love! I knew then this is what I was going to do when I was able.  Things got much better for me over the years. I have had many opportunities to give back and I've always jumped on them.   I am so very blessed now that I can give back in large ways. I'm so grateful for this opportunity. Our first family is a family of four boys, they lost their Mother a couple of months ago and haven't had any family members take them in.  So they are sticking together, with the oldest (21 y0) taking care of his brothers that are in 6th, 8th and 10th grade.  Here's a picture of them with their Mother. <3 Let's bless this family and others together.  If you'd rather donate gifts than money, please contact me at [email redacted] to get a list of wants, needs and clothing sizes.
