Martha's Fund

As many of you know, my Mom is one of the most generous and caring people in the world. She has a heart of gold. Within the past 2 years she has faced some major trials in her life. While going through a divorce with my father, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and opted for complete removal and luckily did not face radiation or chemotherapy. She finalized her divorce and moved to Indianapolis for a fresh start. Due to mismanagement of savings, retirement funds and 401k by my father, my mother is having to start over financally. We recently learned she has a rare,  aggressive form of thyroid cancer. She will have surgery to remove her thyroid on Thursday, November 6.  After the tumor goes to pathology for testing, we will know more about further treatment from there. I would like to help ease my Mom's stress and allow her to feel like she can take time to adjust to life without a thyroid while she is battling cancer yet again and not be concerned about all of the financial stress that comes along with this diagnosis.  All of you that know my mother know she would never ask for help but I would like for her to see that she is worthy of friends and families support.  Let's all come together and help her while she beats cancers ass again!
