Hello everyone,
I am starting this fundraising for my parents. My dad has recently been diagnosed with end stage kidney and liver failure. He has been in and out of the hospital almost a dozen times within the past year, getting procedure after procedure done and now after getting a fistula in his arm, is going to dialysis 3 times a week for 4-5 hours at a time. This makes him completely sick and miserable, which just breaks my heart to see my dad that way.
He is currently on the dual transplant list. It will be up to a year to receive a transplant. He has had to stop working his job that he loved and my mom has quit her job to take care of him full time. Once he has received a donor, my mom and him will have to be in Seattle within 24 hours and live there for up to 3 months doing tests and making sure his body is recovering well with the new organs. With this move, paying for bills at home and paying for a place to live in Seattle will become overwhelming. They will also have medical bills that have been accumulating over this time.That is what I've started this fundraiser for.  My parents have been my support system and my rock since the day I was born and now is my turn to try to help them out. Anything helps, good thoughts and prayers are appreciated!
