On October 28, 2017, renowned mountain biking photographer Chris Hatounian was severely injured in a crash on Southern California's Mt. Pinos. Chris required a helicopter evacuation, and spent five days in the intensive care unit with a broken sternum, a punctured lung, broken ribs, a torn rotator cuff, and other serious injuries. Though Chris is home now, he faces mounting bills (chopper rides ain't cheap!) and a long, painful, and costly rehabilitation process.
If you dont know Chris, he's spent decades documenting and living in the mountain bike community; he's been a ubiquitous presence since the early days of our sport, and is known as one of the most creative, nicest, most generous guys in the business. Chris now needs our help to recover and get back to the work he loves - and that we've loved - so much.
Please help. All funds will go directly to Chris and his family to help offset mounting medical and living expenses while he recovers.
