MLK Day Basic Income Action in DC

Hello! I'm Universal Basic Income activist, writer, and video maker, Matt Orfalea.
Help me spread awareness of MLK's largely unknown and unfinished mission to eliminate poverty with "a Guaranteed Minimum Income for all people and all families of our country."
The plan is to add a mobile guaranteed income section to the MLK memorial in DC with, banners and an audio/video installation @MLK National Memorial in Washington, DC this January 14-16th (MLK Holiday Weekend)
We all know MLK as a leader in the fight against racial injustice. But MLK also spoke out against ECONOMIC INJUSTICE too. In fact, that was his main focus at the time of his assasination.
"...We must also realize that the problems of racial injustice and economic injustice cannot be solved without a radical redistribution of political and economic power. " -MLK
MLK's proposed solution to poverty was a GUARANTEED INCOME
Today refered to as Universal Basic Income
"I’m now convinced that the simplest approach will prove to be the most effective — the solution to poverty is to abolish it directly by a now widely discussed measure: the guaranteed income." -MLK
MLK also warned us of growing inequality due to JOB AUTOMATION.
"A true revolution of values will soon look on the glaring contrast of poverty and wealth with righteous indignation. It will look at thousands of working people displaced from their jobs with reduced income as a result of automation while the profits of the employers remain intact and say 'This is not just'."

I need funds ASAP so I can start ordering large posters and banners. I've been writing and making videos about the need for Universal Basic Income for years. Now it's time to hit the pavement. Help us spread the word about what MLK called the simplest most effective solution to poverty: the Guaranteed Income.
