PROJECT CANCELLED: Lennoxvilles Dog Friendly Cowork Space

Hi. My name is Roy. I am part of a 500 member Lennoxville dog owners group. We want to create an indoor / outdoor place for dogs & dog owners to be comfortable no matter what the weather outside.

WHY LENNOXVILLE NEEDS A DOG FRIENDLY SPACE

A dog park would be great but the city says they do not have suitable land or any money for it.

So to move forward we need to create it with 100% private money from the 1000+ dog owners who might use the space.

One problem with dog parks with that the owner usually wants to leave before the dogs do. Owners get cold &/or bored. To minimize this, we will create an indoor / outdoor Dog Friendly cowork - coplay Space. Dogs can be playing inside or outside while their owner watches them. Good wifi, hot coffee and comfortable chairs and couches couild all be onsite.

WHAT WOULD IDEAL SPACE LOOK LIKE:

For Dogs: 3 seperate outdoor fenced areas to run & play. Indoor couches, dog beds, crates, toys, and water bowls.

For Dog Owners: Comfortable inside & outside tables & chairs.

NOTE: Inside or outside, owners must supervise their dogs at all times.

We were initially raising 3000$ (done) which is enough to lease a property. Our goal was then 5,000$. Done after 5 days. Now we are raising more, so we can lease to own or even outright buy a property.
