Help launch the Islanders Association.
Our goal is to fundamentally improve the way in which the States of Guernsey functions for the benefit of all islanders. To make it more efficient, not only making decisions but, more importantly, at effectively implementing them.

Developing a decisive, effective and efficient government rooted in and driven by our community
Objectives:
Promoting economic growth and diversification
Developing smaller, less intrusive government
Reducing unnecessary regulation and bureaucracy
Providing the Civil Service with clear policy directives and ensuring implementation
Being fiscally responsible
Preserving our environment and culture

Why are we doing this?
With your help we are launching the Islanders Association, a non-profit organisation established and owned by our community members (a 1,000 or more we hope). Together, we will increase public awareness and involvement in important political issues that will shape Guernsey’s future society and prosperity. The Association will enable direct public input into the decision-making process through regular member surveys and representation by Official Association delegates in the States Assembly.
Public support is required; this initiative is rooted in our community. It requires public support, financial, volunteers and members, to make this initiative a success. We already have numerous volunteers that we are forming into working groups to build the Association from the ground up. However, to accelerate that establishment and make the Association a significant political force by 2020, further support is sought from potential members, volunteers and the all-important financial support from donors.
It is happening now! We intend to hold the Association’s inaugural convention in June 2018. Just three months after the announcement of this initiative. All donors will be invited.

£100+ one year's free membership with all the benefits plus a limited edition Founding Member pin/brooch with inclusion on the official list of Founding Members (optional)
£1,000+ all membership benefits plus a limited edition Lifetime Founding Membership pin/brooch and permanent membership with no membership fees (ever) with inclusion on the official list of Founding Lifetime Members (optional)
Founding member status will only be awarded during the pre-launch fundraising campaign. Support us now and secure your position in the history of our Association.
Acknowledgement:
On achieving our funding target of £150,000 we will produce a commemorative bronze plaque inscribed with the names of Lifetime Founding Members and Founding Members to permanently record the names of those members of our community whose generosity enabled the founding of the Association.

Please note: the amount of 'tip' can be altered to a fixed amount of £0 upwards, rather than a percentage of 5%, 10% or 15%.
