Lanesboro Senior Class Trip Fundraising

BACKSTORY: Every spring Lanesboro's Seniors head to Washington DC by bus via Gettysburg, Harper's Ferry, Shenandoah National Park, Thomas Jefferson's Monticello, and Williamsburg spending about a week touring our country.
In the words of one of this year's Seniors "This senior class trip is important to me because I have been looking forward to it since my brother went in 2012. He shared how educational it was and how he bonded with his classmates. Because of CoVid we have lost a lot of opportunities to fundraise and our jobs have been put on hold. I would appreciate any help you can offer!"
THE COST: The price per senior is over $2,000. Much of this is usually covered by seniors working hard at fund raising. The pandemic has made this extremely difficult this year - most events (like Turkey Bowling for instance) had to be cancelled and senior's jobs have also suffered.

While in DC the seniors spend time visiting memorials and museums. Highlights include visiting Capitol Hill, laying a wreath at Arlington Cemetery, enjoying a performance at Ford's Theater and seeing the Smithsonian.
THE DETAILS: With the pandemic you may be asking yourself if the trip will happen. That's not known yet, so this fundraiser has been set up to withdraw your donation from your account ONLY if the trip takes place - which will be determined early this spring.
