Brakwah School & Orphanage

Donation protected

This year I was invited to visit the Brakwah International School in Central Ghana, and what I saw touched my heart.  In the early 1980's, Bishop Jeremiah Saforo returned to his village to establish a school where education was available to every child.  Many of the children had to walk so far that a hostel was built so that the children could eat and sleep there during the week, returning home only on the weekends.

Since then, hundreds of children have benefitted from the selfless hard work of Bishop Saforo.  He is not sponsored by a church movement or denomination; he has a small farm, raises goats & chickens, and appeals to every person he meets about "his children" in this very rural area of Ghana.  Most of the school does not have electricity or plumbing, and there is not even a road to drive to the senior school.

What is needed right now is money for food.  Long term, there is a need for generators but right now, money to feed all the children is critical.  Can you help?
